Get Involved
We welcome volunteers at Okra Abbey! Individuals and groups are welcome to lend a hand and learn about growing fresh vegetables. Once a month we host a Community Day from 9am-Noon on a Saturday. Community Days include coffee and breakfast with neighbors, gardening lessons for children and adults, and hands-on helping with gardening, composting, painting projects, and beautification. Volunteers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
