What is Peas & Love?

Okra Abbey is a giving garden, which means all the produce we grow is given away to our neighbors. Unfortunately not all our neighbors are able to enjoy what is growing in garden beds in person, so we make home visits. Peas & Love is the weekly (seasonal) practice that enables us to bring fresh, locally grown produce into the homes of neighbors who are homebound or low mobility. The Peas & Love visits provide an opportunity to fellowship with our neighbors and bring the community care from the Abbey into the neighborhood.

Note: Peas & Love is temporarily on hold throughout this winter season transition period.
