What is Peas & Love?

Our weekly “Peas & Love” fresh produce distro is an opportunity for us to connect with our elderly and/or disabled neighbors who may have a harder time visiting the garden and harvesting directly. Every Thursday we pack up fresh produce grown at Okra Abbey, and fresh harvests from City Park master gardeners, to deliver bags of nutritious fresh food to our neighbors. This program allows us to nurture the neighborhood support networks and inter-generational relationships that help keep communities strong, while working to address access barriers for disabled and elderly community members. 

Note: Peas & Love is temporarily pauses operations during seasonal transition periods.
